There’s no way to guarantee a brand’s success among your social media audience, but here’s a rule of thumb for all social media marketing campaigns:

The better you understand your audience, the more likely you will succeed in turning followers into customers through the content you create and post on social media platforms.

To find brands that resonate with your social media audience and have the best chances to generate customers and get you paid, you will first need to know your people as much as possible.

Ask yourself the following questions:

And dig as deep as you can:

  • (age, gender, ethnicity, location, education, income, sexual orientation, etc.)
  • 💡 What are their interests, motivations, and desires?
  • 💡 How well do they know the brand, product, or service I plan on advertising?
  • 💡 What are their current perceptions of this brand or business?

The richer your answers to these questions are, the easier it will be for you to define a social media content strategy that will drive maximum engagement and conversions among your social media audience.

Don’t hesitate to visit the brand’s website and social media accounts to understand how they interact with their potential and actual customers.

If your social media audience is similar to the brand’s in terms of demographics and interests, you’re looking at a potential perfect match!
